We are pleased to announce the DC-THERA Annual Meeting 2009 to be held on 6-9 May 2009. As this is the last year of the network, this promises to be a stimulating meeting with updates on the key network priorities as well as the beginning of new network applications.

The pathway analysis database ( DC-ATLAS)/ mining tool (Eu.Gene) initiative will present data on the curated signalling pathways (~ 10 curated as of today by as many partners). The DC-THERA directory will be launched and should speed up knowledge exchange in protocols, data sets and biomaterials besides replacing both current intranet and extranet as a full DC knowledge portal. The Golden Reference Experiment will show data on genomic signatures associated to key DC stimuli and preliminary findings on large scale microarray analysis of DCs in historical samples of melanoma patients. There will also be presentations on the developments of the multi-centre trials and the mid-period review of the 12 research projects funded by DC-THERA.

The meeting will start with a reception dinner on the 6th, with meetings starting early on the 7th and finishing late on the 8th with a final celebratory dinner and departure in the morning of the 9th.

The meeting is open to partners, associated partners and invited guests.
