DC-THERA Graduate School 2009
Following the success of the last Graduate School Mark Suter will be leading the DCCrest09 in Switzerland - March 2009.
Mark Suter strikes yet again! He will be leading the DCCrest09, the (now very traditional) 4th Graduate School in St Moritz, Switzerland on the 15-20 March 2009
A dendritic cell meeting organised for and by young investigators where they spend 5 days with leading scientists in the field. Postdocs will act as chairpersons and all junior investigators will speak in a friendly environment.
The previous Graduate Schools were very successful at all levels, with junior researchers presenting, chairing and leading during the day, and senior scientists conducting round tables in the evenings in an extremely open, friendly but well structured setting. Groups of students were kept busy in the afternoons as they were given topics to prepare for the evening meetings while going down the slopes or inspired by going up peaks like the Philosophers’ trekking route.
The programme for the next Graduate School is being prepared and will be available shortly once we have the overall picture of the abstracts submitted and accepted.
This incredible opportunity is available to all DC-THERA partners and associated partners and is mandatory for all DC-THERA sponsored PhD's.
