Postdoctoral offer in Cellular and Molecular Immunology at ULB

A funded postdoctoral position is available at the Department of Molecular Biology of the “Université Libre de Bruxelles” (Belgium) in the field of Cellular and Molecular Immunology.

The goal of the project is to identify and characterize the T cell helper subpopulation regulating antibody secretion in response to T-cell dependent antigens. The project will focus on a combined in vitro and in vivo approach using established murine models of immune responses (including transgenic and knockout mouse strains).

Individuals applying for this position must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, should be fluent in English and/or French and should display ability to work with others. Experience in immunology and/or cellular biology, and techniques associated with these disciplines such as in vitro cell culture, basic molecular biology techniques, immune assays, flow cytometry, immunocytochemical techniques, are preferred.

The position can be filled immediately and is initially for 2 years with possible extensions after positive evaluation. Salary is according to the regulations of the “Université Libre de Bruxelles” and depends on experience.
